Aidan is doing so well with soccer this year. He could still stand to be a bit more aggressive, but I just don't know how to teach him that. He enjoys it and does a lot of "goal keeping" in the games.
The age that he is they don't really have goalies, but they still have to defend the goal, so that is mostly his job. Adam and I both played defense, so maybe he gets it naturally? This year he made his first "during the game" goal. He wanted that so badly last year, and was able to accomplish it this year. He was so proud and we were too!
Alora seems so uninterested in sports. While at the games, this is what she chooses to do....At least she has a cute little friend to play with most of the time. We don't go anywhere without at least one baby doll or stuffed animal.
Aralyn, however, is interested. She tries the whole game to go out onto the field and join in the game. Adam and I take turns holding her and distracting her (which is hard since he is also the co-coach of sorts.) She loves to get Aidan's ball and kick it around and carry it. So cute!!!

We got to spend some time up at my parents' this past weekend. It was nice to get away, but wasn't quite long enough. We were back home and right back to school and soccer and cold weather too! It has been right down chilly here. I am sort of glad that this Thursday will be the last game. Aralyn refuses to wear a hat and won't stay covered with a blanket at the games, so many more games and it would be really hard to keep her warm enough.
