Success
Success was acheived today. One of our boys was able to head home after being here for almost 2 years. I am very sad to see him go, I love him and care for him and wish only the best for him, but I am also so happy for him! I know that he will have struggles and I pray that he is able to deal with those in the best possible way, but, I also know that he knows all he needs to know to make it through and be all he has the potential to be.

We went to a concert last night. Jeremy Camp with the opening act being, Mainstay. Both were great and since it was the last night of the tour, they played lots of pranks and told lost of jokes. It was a great worshipful time and we all enjoyed it. We even stopped at Starbucks for hot chocolate on the way home! Peppermint hot chocolate is so yummy on a cool fall evening. It was great!

We are getting ready to load a truck with boxes for Operation Christmas Child. It should be a busy busy night loading, but it will be good for the kids. We already loaded our boxes and got them ready, but we are also going to load the truck. It will be awesome to see how many boxes there are to load....I know LOTS of places around here were involved. Looking for shoe box size plastic containers was impossible. They were sold out everywhere and several stores even had idea lists up with items that would be acceptable. It was wonderful to see how many people were involved with making Christmas a special time for even those who wouldn't have any thing otherwise.

We have been receiving the beginnings of our donations for this time of year. It is amazing to see how much people in the community and in the churches in the area are willing to help. God's people are showing His love and it is truly wonderful. All the time we are shown special kindness just for being who and what we are, and the fact that people want to help and be loving toward us. It is so great to see that kindness and love extended to "my boys" and the "girls". Thank you to all who think of us and all who give...even the change adds up.
